The Relief Society Sisters spent Wednesday evening waterproofing matches. Those matches will be a great commodity in a time of emergency, but the friendships made will also help us. Sisters are a lot like matches. A sister will help us strike our match. A sister will share her light and a sister will give us warmth.
After waterproofing matches, the sisters looked at items to see which items matched each sister and her talents and interests. It is amazing to see the talents and diverse interests of the sisters right here in our very own neighborhood. If there is a need, there is no doubt that there is a sister in our ward who is beyond capable of meeting that need. Heavenly Father sure must love us to put us all together in one ward so that we can be a source of light and warmth for each other.
