December 2016 Polar Express Christmas Party

Ok everyone. Sorry it's taken me so long but here it is! The post/pictures for the Amazing Wonderful Christmas Party.

Here is a few pictures of the awesome RS committee and presidency setting up for the big event. They worked SOOOO hard!

After all their hard work, they are ready to begin!! Look at how magical and beautiful everything looks!!

Bro. Dean handing out the train tickets to ride the Polar Express to the North Pole!!

 Boarding the Polar Express

The Polar Express conductors (Bro. Dickison and Bro. Talbot) punched our tickets and we sang Christmas songs to power the train to get us to the North Pole!

We were greeted by Bishop Jorgensen at the North Pole!

The gym was breathtaking! It felt so enchanting being there.

 The hot chocolate stand!

Now this train was amazing! Kudos to Bro. and Sis. Brownie

The phenomenal RS presidency. (not pictured: Gayle Parry, she was working hard in the gym at this moment)

A few of the primary children sang!

 Bro. Smith sang!

A beautiful production starring Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, Santa and Sis. Newbold (as narrator)

These young women did a spectacular job doing the "Hot Chocolate Dance" choreographed by Elizabeth Parry.

The young men were the gentlemen, ushering families to their seats for the program, dinner, and finding our way to see Santa.

For all those that worked so hard and so many hours to put this all together, we thank you for a magical and memorable evening!!!

Relief Society Overnight Retreat

Minute to Win It, Primary Style

The kids stacked dice, covered teachers in post it notes, dropped cookies from their heads to their mouths, and stacked cups as quickly as they could. However, the highlight of the day was most likely the bishopric doing the ping pong ball bounce.  Primary looks like its the place to be on Sunday's.

"A Merit Badge We Will Earn"

Troop 1437

What an amazing group of young men we have in the ward.  These boys were able to go to a week long and earn merit badge, after merit badge, after merit badge.  Combined all the merit badges earn and that were awarded this court of honor was more than 100 merit badges.  This shows the dedication that these young men have.  There were young men receiving their First Class, Second Class, Star and Life Rankings.  We want to thank all of the leaders who went and supported these young men.  As you can see they love what they do.  Parents thanks for all you do for supporting these young men.  Way to Go, Troop 1437!!!
