Seth Nielsen was presented his Eagle Scout on August 6, 2016.  Seth actually earned his Eagle Scout on March 6, 2016. With Brother Goff being deployed and one of Seth's scout leaders Seth chose to wait until Brother Goff returned home so he could participate in the court of Honor last evening.  Seth has put a lot of hard work into receiving this honor.  He and his brother are neck in neck with the amount of merit badges they have earned so far.  (It's a race to see who can earn the most merit badges.  Seth vs. Landen)  Seth made it very clear he would win this competition with his brother.  It was a surprise to Sister Nielsen when Seth gave one of his mentor pins to his older brother, Landen and paid tribute to him.  Something we all learned about Seth is about his love of his Scottish heritage.  Something that make this Court of Honor unique was having a Scottish Bagpipe player come and serenade us with some music.  He was amazing!  Seth's cousins showed off  their family heritage with wearing kilts in his honor.
Congratulations Seth on earning your Eagle Scout!!!

Daniel Stoney's Court of Honor

Daniel Stoney was presented his Eagle Scout on Saturday, July 16 by Brother Steve Nielsen.  What a great accomplishment this is for any young man that sets his mind to it.  What a great way to learn of new skills that you may not of learned otherwise.  We want to congratulate Daniel Stoney on this great accomplishment!

Sister Stoney has some "Mad Sewing Skills" that she might even consider sharing with the rest of us scout mothers.  The daunting task of sewing all of the merit badges on the day before I am sure wasn't an easy task.
